Ice Hockey World Cup

Compete in thrilling games of the Ice Hockey World Championship, where the top players from the NHL, KHL, and other global leagues battle it out in a tournament made up of five divisions.

Select your player with a tap and deliver precise shots on goal—directly, off the boards, or by ricocheting off another player. You can also send the puck along the boards if no one is blocking the path and score this way. A direct attack on goal isn’t always the best option—think a few moves ahead and analyze the opponent's positioning. Sometimes it's smarter to focus on defense: knock an opposing player out of a good position and wait for the right moment to strike, like when the goalie leaves a corner open or there's a clear path along the boards.

Each division features national teams split into two groups of eight. During the group stage, you’ll play seven matches. A win in regulation earns 3 points, an overtime or shootout win gives 2 points, and a loss in overtime or a shootout grants 1 point. The top four teams from each group advance to the playoffs, while the lowest-ranked team is relegated to a lower division—where the top two earn promotion. If teams are tied on points, goal difference is used first, followed by the total number of goals scored.

Just like in real hockey, the group stage allows for a more relaxed playstyle—you can try out different tactics, and even after losing a few games, you can still qualify for the playoffs from fourth place. In elimination rounds, play becomes more tactical and cautious, where every second, overtime, or shootout goal can determine the winner. Each tournament phase offers a different gameplay experience—from the freedom and excitement of offensive play to the tense, strategic matches for medals with tight defense and last-second goals.

You’ll experience legendary hockey rivalries like the Russia–Canada Super Series, the Czech–Slovak Federal Derby, the Sweden–Finland Scandinavian Derby, and other historic clashes from world hockey.

The game features three difficulty levels: Easy, Normal, and Hard. Start on Easy to build experience, and only then try to become a champion in the tougher modes.

To unlock all achievements, you must win the championship in all five divisions. To climb the leaderboard, win games with the largest goal difference. Additional points are awarded for finishing in the top three of a tournament—the harder the mode, the more points you earn.

As a player, you can upgrade your hockey team and increase its rating and level by winning matches. The higher your rating, the better your team plays—and your goalie performs better too. Losing matches lowers your rating.

There are five team strength levels, from 1 to 5 stars:

5 stars – hockey giants: Canada and Russia

4 stars – Czechia, USA, Sweden, Finland, Germany, Slovakia, Switzerland

3 stars – Austria, Belarus, Denmark, France, Kazakhstan, Latvia, Norway

2 stars – teams from the second division

1 star – teams from the third, fourth, and fifth divisions (they differ only by their rating points)

The game includes a custom league editor, where you can create your own hockey league—similar to the NHL or KHL. Name the teams, assign their strength levels, and play through a tournament structured like the World Championship—with a group stage and playoffs.

You can also edit player names in all teams across all tournaments. Your changes are saved even when starting a new game.
