ATAK Plugin: HAIL

HAIL is a medical intelligence platform digitally connecting vital signs, medical treatments, and intervention requests of users on the edge with command centers and critical care facilities. HAIL lives within the TAK ecosystem, integrating with wearable sensors, digitizing treatment information, and enabling peer-to-peer data syncing across hybrid networks to support diagnosis, triage, and logistics.

HAIL is compatible with all flavors of ATAK and currently supports Samsung and Garmin wearables. The platform is sensor and hardware agnostic, with infrastructure that can be integrated quickly with most systems. Users can generate digital casualty cards for team members and for patients encountered in the field. HAIL currently uses the DD1380, but can be customized to match your organization's SOPs. To facilitate rescue, HAIL provides workflows for digitally aided casualty evacuation (DACASEVAC).

No internet connectivity or third-party cloud-based services are required. In addition to IP radios, HAIL is compatible with goTenna mesh radios and the EVERYWHERE Communications Mission Connect Platform.

The companion Wear OS app is for Samsung devices only, as it uses the Samsung Health SDK to get vitals directly from the onboard device sensors and not from the online health stack. Heartrate, SpO2, and skin temperature can then be displayed on the watch and transmitted to the phone app.
